Reconnect with the old-world charm of Oldenburg, Indiana. Join the Sisters of St. Francis Oldenburg for the 2012 Holiday Under The Spires event on Saturday, December 1 in Oldenburg, Indiana.

 

Festivities will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy a walk through town, music and dance performances, horse drawn carriage rides, a visit with Santa, crafts at Holy Family School and the convent, cookie walk, and soup cafe at the convent. Peruse the gift shop. Visit retired professors. And, for a special holiday treat enjoy the sister's choir.

 

At the convent, homemade bread, local special recipe soups, and cookies baked by the sisters and their associates will be available for purchase; proceeds will support Franciscan ministries.

 

Oldenburg is located in southeastern Indiana, near Batesville, about 80 miles from Marian University
