There's still time to get your tickets for Coach Bob Knight and 30-plus basketball stars! - 6/13/2012

Coach Bobby KnightThe General is coming! The Marian University Department of Athletics announces the Indiana Basketball Legends Reunion, a fundraiser benefitting Marian University athletics.

Legendary basketball coach Bob Knight and more than 30 of the greatest Indiana basketball players will be at St.Vincent Health Field on the Marian University campus Saturday, June 16, 2012 beginning at 8 a.m. Indiana basketball legends such as Damon Bailey, George McGinnis, Landon Turner, Scott May, Randy Wittman, and many more will be on hand for an autograph session from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by remarks from Coach Knight at 11.

Why Marian University?
As part of its annual Clayton Family Circle of Honor Induction Dinner on June 15, Marian University is honoring Coach Knight and Coach Ray Crowe with endowed scholarships to benefit Indiana youth pursuing sports and coaching. Former IU great Steve Downing—a star in his own right—is Marian University’s director of athletics and a friend of Coach Knight. Downing wanted to do something to make the weekend more memorable, and the Indiana Basketball Legends event began to take shape.

Admission to the event is $75, and fans can bring up to two items for autograph by the legends. Tickets are limited, so act now. Visit www.marian.edu/indianalegends to purchase tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event, or call the Marian University business office at 800.952.3917or 317.955.6020.
