On November 29 and 30, Marian University hosted a summit to discuss how Catholic school leaders in Indiana can meet the challenges and seize opportunities to be of even greater benefit to the families they service. While Catholic schools have faced significant challenges, there are promising new possibilities. School choice, education reform, higher standards, increased accountability, and financial challenges all compel Catholic schools to seek new strategies, forge stronger collaborations, and obtain fresh resources to take full advantage of the opportunities to enrich and extend their missions.

 

The summit is hosted by Marian University, the National Catholic Education Association, and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, with assistance from a grant by the Bussing-Koch Foundation.
