The new state-of-the-art computer lab at the Keystone Crossing site opened in November, allowing students the convenience of taking technology courses at that location, for the first time.
The lab, located in what was formerly referred to as classroom two, will entice even more students to explore the business technology courses. With fully equipped computer labs available at both the main campus and at Keystone, students have twice the scheduling options.
In addition to the computer lab, the Keystone facility will soon be equipped with wireless Internet access throughout, giving students the capability of using laptops in all the classrooms and the common area. Although we ran into some technology glitches, we are confident the wireless connection will be in place before the start of Term 4. Students must login using their Marian University username and password to use the computer lab or the wireless connection. Before attending any technology classes students must be sure they know both their username and password. Anyone experiencing difficulty should submit an iHelp Desk request at www.marian.edu/ihelpdesk.
MAP students are welcome to take advantage of access to the computers at the Keystone location during regular business hours of 8 a.m.-5:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday. The computer lab in Marian Hall at the main campus is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except during times the university is closed. Computers for students’ use are also available in the Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library and the Ruth Lilly Student Center.
