To celebrate National Osteopathic Medicine Week, Dr. Angela Wagner will join us for a lunch and learn session to help us learn more about osteopathic medicine. Dr. Wagner is an osteopathic physician at Westview Hospital who practices family medicine and has an interest in osteoporosis. Read her biography.
On January 15, 2010, Marian University announced that it would develop Indiana's first college of osteopathic medicine and the second medical school in the state. In conjunction with the Indiana Osteopathic Association, the university's new medical school will help address the state's shortage of doctors, especially primary care physicians.
A Subway lunch will be offered at no charge; lunch begins at noon and Dr. Wagner's presentation begins at 12:15 p.m.
