On Sunday, April 5, Marian College will host the 13th annual Midwest Cycling Classic, one of the biggest criterium races of the collegiate season.
The Midwest Cycling Classic criterium course is a mile-winding loop on the Marian College campus and adjoining city streets. It is flat and well-paved with a wide and long finishing straight.
More than 200 cyclists representing 60 teams from the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference will compete. The event is sponsored by Matthews Bicycles, ZIPP Speed Weaponry, and SPORTSDRINK +.
Registration will be held at the center of campus by the Franciscan Heritage Fountain. Registration will close 30 minutes before each event and open at 8 a.m. For more information, contact Dean Peterson at depeterson@marian.edu or 317.955.6340.
