On Sunday, April 26, 2009, Marian College will host the annual spring pops concert at 8 p.m. in Indianapolis Civic Theatre on the Marian College campus.

The concert will feature the Marian College chamber singers, women’s chorus, and jazz band. The first half of the program is choral, and the second half is instrumental. Each group will sing or play music of the pop, jazz, and Broadway genres. There will be solos and small groups as well, chosen by Mark Gilgallon, the music director at North United Methodist Church and a vocal instructor. He will hear auditions on April 5, 2009.
