On June 7-26, 2008, Marian College will host the Reality Spanish
® Summer Institute, which includes a three-week program comprised of functional Spanish courses for those working in law enforcement.
Reality Spanish® is part of Reality Language®, a language-learning program developed by Colorado-based LingoLynx, LLC, and is designed to bridge language barriers by teaching real-life, context-based words and phrases. Classes are available for various workforce categories and lessons are customized to address situations that apply to those workforce categories.
Reality Spanish® classes for law enforcement will be available for those working in the law enforcement field. They will take place July 7-8, 10, 14-15, 17, 21, and 25 from 6-9 p.m. and July 26 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
This fall, Reality Spanish® classes will be offered for teachers, healthcare professionals, and for all. Dates and times to be determined.
