John Katunga will present “Peace Building in Kenya Under Crisis” on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. in Allison Mansion. The event is part of the Global Studies Speaker Series, sponsored by The Richard G. Lugar Franciscan Center for Global Studies. It is open to the public at no charge; registration is required.
Katunga is the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) regional technical advisor for peace building and justice in the east Africa region; he is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Serving in this role since January 2007, he provides technical guidance and assistance to CRS peace building and justice programs in Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
