Mr. Hannah has served as the Chief Administrative Officer for National Government Services, Inc. (NGS) since October 2009. In that role, Jeff is responsible for 500 NGS associates in seven functional areas. Jeff’s other roles with NGS (and its corporate predecessor) include Support Services Staff VP, and Chief Compliance Officer. In his Chief Compliance Officer role, Jeff was responsible for the support and oversight provided by the Ethics and Compliance, Operations Audit and Quality, Internal Audit, Contract Administration, and Legal functions. Jeff has served as the Executive Sponsor for the NGS Leadership Development program since 2006.
Jeff is a lawyer by trade and began his work in the WellPoint organization in 1988, initially serving as a litigator for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana. During his tenure in the Legal Division, Mr. Hannah served in both management and non-management capacities, providing and directing legal support for both Blue Cross and Blue Shield Branded and non-branded insurance operations, including regulatory and insurance operations issues, litigation, and government contracts support.
Jeff earned his J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University, Indianapolis, in 1982. He worked at the Indiana Court of Appeals and as an associate with an Indianapolis law firm prior to joining the WellPoint organization.
