Impact on Education

"The academy and the national faculty taught me to be concerned with more than just low test scores. I've learned to focus on how those statistics have come to be and what factors make those test scores low. This way, I can help my teachers address the core of the issue and supply solutions to the problem."

Curriculum Overview
Leadership Candidates will learn from both national and local faculty. The first year of coursework, called the Foundational Coursework, is generally delivered face-to-face with some online work in between sessions. During the mentor program period, leadership candidates meet tri-weekly with their mentor and meet one Saturday bi-monthly for debriefing and supportive coursework. Course descriptions for The Academy for Teaching and Learning Leadership are not all-inclusive, as final design may include additional course materials and tools.
