Description

The Saint Clare Academic Scholarship is named after Saint Clare of Assisi. Saint Clare modeled a simple life style rooted in service and prayer. She was committed to protecting the integrity of each person and also emphasized the thoughtful stewardship of all material resources. Saint Clare’s teachings are reflected in Marian University’s Franciscan values of dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship, which are informed by prayer.
