Nursing Focus Day and Placement Testing Request for Registration
Students are required to pay the $100 non-refundable enrollment deposit to attend Nursing Focus Day. You can pay the enrollment deposit online at www.afford.com/marian. Students who are unable to pay the $100 enrollment deposit will not be guaranteed a slot at a Nursing Focus Day program.

All nursing transfer students are required to attend Nursing Focus Day in order to register for classes. During Nursing Focus Day you will participate in transition programs and meet with an academic advisor to schedule your classes. It is required that you complete placement testing prior to attending Nursing Focus Day so that your academic advisor can properly register you for the appropriate courses.
Attending the earliest possible Nursing Focus Day program will allow you to have more flexibility with class and time choices. We highly recommend attending Nursing Focus Day sooner rather than later.
Please refer to your initial Nursing Focus Day letter which details your specific testing requirements. The following options are for students planning to register for the spring 2013 semester only.

Nursing Focus Day is designed for incoming transfer students. Due to the independent nature of the program, it is not necessary for students to bring additional guests. Friends and family are welcome to tour campus, view the facilities, and visit the bookstore while students attend the Nursing Focus Day program.
*A $35 Orientation Fee will be billed to your student account after attending SOAR.
