George LaMaster holds a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University and a master’s degree of divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He earned a master of arts in Speech Communication and a doctorate in Communication and Culture from Indiana University. LaMaster directs the communication program and coaches the Marian University Speech Team. Also an ordained minister, he serves as a parish associate at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
LaMaster teaches a wide range of courses in rhetorical studies and cultural studies such as The Art of Dialogue, Post-Modernity and Popular Culture, and Civil Religion. His research concerns contemporary religious rhetoric and forensic pedagogy.
