Marcia Eppich-Harris holds a bachelor’s degree in music from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, a master of arts in literature and creative writing from Indiana State University, and a doctorate in English (Shakespeare and dramatic literature) from Marquette University. She teaches general education courses, as well as a range of dramatic literature courses, Shakespeare, renaissance literature, and adolescent literature. Dr. Eppich-Harris is a member of the gender studies committee, the play selection committee for the Theatre department, and writes the blog for the Theatre department. She also acts as one of the faculty leaders for the annual trip to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, Ontario.

Dr. Eppich-Harris’s research focuses broadly on Shakespeare’s works, but her primary interest is in Shakespeare’s second historical tetralogy: Richard II; Henry IV, Part One; Henry IV, Part Two; and Henry V. She also collects and writes about artwork based on Shakespeare’s plays.
