Dr. James Larner, professor of music and humanities, joined the faculty of Marian University in 1985. Dr. Larner is an active performer in the Indianapolis area and has appeared with a number of nationally known musicians including: The Temptations, Sandy Patti, Lou Rawls, and Carol Channing.
Dr. Larner is the director of woodwind ensembles, coordinator of the humanities program and chair of the Department of Music. He is currently on the board of directors of the Humanities Education and Research Association and the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation.
