Mission Statement

Marian University's mission is to be a Catholic university dedicated to excellent teaching and learning in the Franciscan and liberal arts traditions. The Office of Human Resources, in partnership with the university community using a stewardship philosophy, seeks to create a work environment which contributes to and fulfills this mission.

We Value

Customers. All members of the university community are our number one priority, as well as the primary focus of our advocacy, planning, service, and stewardship. We aspire to ensure that the university community is treated with respect and dignity, has opportunities for professional growth and development, receives fair and equitable treatment, and works in a safe environment.

Human Resources Staff. We ensure that the staff members are enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsive professionals who work collaboratively and demonstrate personal integrity. Staff members are committed to upholding the highest level of service to our customers.

Community Partners: As skilled professionals, both internal and external to the university, our partners use their specialties and expertise to help us to accomplish the university's mission.
