Cathi Cornelius, Ed.D., completed her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Oklahoma State University; master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Northeastern State University; and her doctorate degree in curriculum and supervision from Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Cornelius has served as an elementary classroom teacher for eight years teaching in both public and private schools. She also served as an elementary administrator for two years and a Title I parent-school-community coordinator for two years. Dr. Cornelius has worked as a gifted and talented coordinator and g/t state evaluator for four years. She was selected “Excellent Educator” by the Oklahoma City Public School Foundation in 1995.
Dr. Cornelius taught both undergraduate and graduate education courses at Ball State for two years as an Assistant Professor. She is currently an associate professor and Director of Multicultural Education at Marian University in Indianapolis. Her areas of expertise are in underserved gifted populations, social studies methods, multicultural education, urban education, and assessment/evaluation.
