Teaching License
Leadership candidates must hold a valid teaching license. Master’s Degree or Equivalent

Coursework/Professional Experience
In order to be considered for the program, candidates must have a master’s degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university. Equivalent coursework and/or professional experience may also be considered.  In addition, candidates may be considered who do not yet have a degree conferred if adequate documentation is provided demonstrating that all the requirements for the degree have been fulfilled.

3.00 Minimum Cumulative GPA
Leadership candidates must have a cumulative graduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (as measured by the institution awarding your degree) at the time we receive your application, as well as at the time of graduation.

Criminal Records/Proceedings
Leadership candidates will submit to background checks required by their school districts and Marian University. Marian University reserves the right to deny admission to or dismiss leadership candidates who have been involved in a criminal proceeding other than a minor traffic violation, regardless of the outcome. This includes criminal matters that were handled by a juvenile court and final determinations that are under seal or otherwise expunged from the public record.
